Zouk Levels
Zouk Absolute Beginner – Level 1
You will learn the fundamental techniques & theory of this Latin dance. After this course you will be able to dance short combinations and basic turns.
Zouk Absolute Beginner – Level 1: is a course with a progressive program and learning curve.
Zouk Absolute Beginner – Level 2
You will learn the fundamental techniques & theory of this Latin dance. After this course you will be able to dance short combinations and basic turns.
Zouk Absolute Beginner – Level 2: is a course with a progressive program and learning curve.
Zouk Improver - Level 4/5
You’ve done the groundwork, now step it up a notch!
This level is for beginner to intermediate dancers looking to either attain or refine their technical abilities. Focus is on partnering skills, turn & rotation techniques, traveling turns, balance and connection to help you be a great partner on the dance floor.
Zouk improver – Level 4/5: are classes on a ongoing basis, meaning there is no start and end date like we have in the beginner courses. In the ongoing classes we speak of level of control in technique and theory.
Recommended to take this level a minimum of 4-6 months before moving to Zouk level 6/7.
Zouk Intermediate - Level 6/7
Maximize your time & learning! Besides Partner work, New turn patterns, techniques & Theory, in the Intermediate Level 4/5 Zouk Track there will be more attention for Footwork & Body Movement to work towards becoming a more complete dancers (“in dance we use all of our body”) The pairing and development of both skills will allow you to dance organically, with ease and you will become more capable of communicating, connecting and expressing yourself threw dance.
Zouk Intermediate – Level 6/7: are classes on a ongoing basis, meaning there is no start and end date like we have in the beginner courses. In the ongoing classes we speak of level of control in technique and theory.
Recommended to take this level a minimum of 6-8 months before moving to the next level.
